Gabrielle Union has served us countless hairstyles, recently including but not limited to a braided ponytail down to her waist and a fierce pixie — but on March 12, 2022, the actor really gave us some spring haircut inspiration by posting a new haircut on Instagram with the caption, “Giving the kids something to snack on.” While it may have taken me a minute or two to get past her stunning neutral smoky eye and nude lip combination she served us with, her new bob haircut now has my full attention.
When I think of a short bob haircut, I immediately visualize a pin-straight middle part. Union showed me (and everybody else drooling over this look), that that isn’t the only way to go about it. From the looks of it, this is Union’s natural hair, which she combed over to create a classy side part, with her heat-pressed hair tucked behind her right ear, letting the left side do its thing. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the actor serve us with a chic bob such as this; remember her blonde wig on the set of L.A.’s Finest or her chin-grazing bob in 2017? How could we forget?

Union paired her short bob with a plethora of outfits, gracing us with what I like to call an Instagram look-book of inspiration. The actor is serving us look after look with this fierce bob as the ultimate accessory. While my favorite outfit out of the four she posted has to be the brown pinstripe suit and colorful crochet top and blet, I really wouldn’t mind her lending me any of these outfits, wouldn’t you?
On that note, excuse me while I binge-watch Cheaper By The Dozen (the first and second) while scrolling through Union’s Instagram feed for some more hairstyle ideas and of course, cute as hell photos of her daughter, Kaavia James.
