I read in the paper this morning that this weekend a 17 year old high school student was shot and killed while attending a party here in Madison near Camp Randall Stadium. Come to find out, I work with this young man’s mother. I’m trying to raise some money for her to help with expenses she will incur while dealing with this devastating situation. Police are not clear if Freeny was the intended target, but his mother really believes that he was the intended target.
“I just want whoever’s out there that knows anything, seen anything, heard anything — anything — say something,” Williams said. “This is a child’s life taken. No matter what the situation is, nobody deserves it.”
