Asus ROG Ally handheld gaming PC now available for purchase in India

The Asus ROG Ally handheld console is finally available for purchase in India. The ROG Ally got its global debut in May and was showcased in India earlier this week.

Last week, the ROG Ally went on sale in India through Flipkart during a one day ‘Flash’ sale on July 7. However, today, Asus’ handheld gaming PC can be purchased in India. The Asus ROG Ally is essentially a gaming PC packed into a handheld console form factor.

Asus ROG Ally Price, Offers in India

The Asus ROG Ally price in India is set at Rs 69,999 for the Ryzen Z1 Extreme Edition. The ROG Ally is also available with a standard version of the Ryzen Z1 chip, although that model isn’t being sold in India.

The Asus ROG Ally comes in a single white colour option. It is available for purchase through Flipkart, Asus Exclusive Stores, ROG Stores, and the Asus E-shop. Customers can get a discount of up to Rs 5,000 using HDFC Bank credit and debit card and EMI transactions.

Additionally, the first 200 customers to purchase the ROG Ally though Asus’ E-shop or Asus Exclusive Stores will get a free case for the Ally worth Rs 2,000 for just one rupee. Asus have also announced several offers on the purchase of the ROG Ally through its official website.

Asus ROG Ally Specs

The Asus ROG Ally is powered by the Zen 4-based Ryzen Z1 Extreme APU with AMD’s RDNA 3 Radeon Graphics. The ROG Ally comes with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM clocked at 6400Mhz and a 512GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD. The aim on the ROG Ally is to run games in 1080p resolution at a minimum of 30fps.

Asus’ handheld console sports a 7-inch FHD+ (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS LCD panel with 500 nits of peak brightness. The panel features a 120Hz refresh rate and a 7ms response time. Moreover, the display supports Dolby Vision and FreeSync Premium. It packs stereo speakers Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos support.

The Asus ROG Ally packs a 40Whr battery that supports 65W charging. Connectivity options on the handheld console include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, a 3.5mm combo audio jack, a USB Type-C port, and a ROG XG Mobile Interface to connect the ROG XG Mobile e-GPU.
