Serie A schedule: How to watch soccer matches from Italy on Paramount+, CBS Sports Network

Clear your Sunday schedule. Fans will be treated to two of the biggest games of the Serie A season thus far and they’re happening back to back.

Runaway leaders Napoli (1st, 24 points) will take its perfect record to Rome, where they face an AS Roma side (4th, 15 points) still smarting from a 6-1 humbling in Norway during midweek Europa Conference League play. The rest of Serie A is hoping that Jose Mourinho’s team can be the first to slow down goal scorer Victor Osimhen and the Partenopei.

If Napoli does slip up, one of Inter Milan (3rd, 17 points) and Juventus (7th, 14 points) will hope to take advantage when they meet at the Stadio San Siro in Milan in another edition of the Derby d’Italia, the two teams with the most league titles in Italian football. Both are coming off midweek Champions League victories.

After seeing their Champions League hopes fade with a third straight loss in the competition during midweek, AC Milan will look to turn its focus back to the league, where it’s been on nearly as dominant a run as Napoli. AC Milan (2nd, 22 points) has won seven of its eight Serie A matches and is also undefeated when it travels to face Bologna (8th, 12 points) on Saturday.

Among the other teams contending for the spots below Napoli and AC Milan, there are three that will hope to pick up all three points on Sunday to keep up the chase. Atalanta (6th, 14 points) and Fiorentina (9th, 12 points) have home matches, while Lazio (5th, 14 points) faces a tricky away match at Verona (14th, 8 points).
