Human: Fall Flat Celebrates 30 Million Sales And New Level Reveal On Fifth Anniversary

[ad_1]

Five years ago (well, five years ago yesterday, technically), Human: Fall Flat waddled and flopped its way to PC, offering players a fun and quirky physics-based experience that went down a treat from the off. Now, five years and a Switch release later, the folks at No Brakes Games and Curve Digital have announced that the game has shifted a whopping 30 million copies.

Tomas Sakalauskas, Human: Fall Flat’s creator and CEO and Founder of No Brakes Games, has shared the following:

“We couldn’t be happier to reach this amazing milestone. Five years ago Human Fall Flat first launched on PC with eight physics based puzzle levels, and now our game is available worldwide across PC, mobile and console platforms, includes 17 (soon to be 18!) exciting levels, and we’ve shipped over 30 million copies – we really can’t believe how far we’ve come.”

That ‘soon the be 18’ is referring to a brand new level called Laboratory, announced just yesterday. Set to release in-game this summer, the level was created by ‘Buler’, a competition winner who bagged $10,000 for his effort. Laboratory will throw players into a secret lab full of magnets and electricity – and no doubt full of chaos, too.

“I’d like to say a huge thank you to the amazing Human: Fall Flat community,” Sakalauskas continues. “I always wanted to make a game that inspires creators and players to build and explore new levels without any limitation and I am constantly surprised by the innovation that we see from the community each year. We look forward to many more years to come!”

Human: Fall Flat is available on Nintendo Switch right now. You can learn all about it and read our thoughts by checking out our full review.
