Netflix is adding new games to its arsenal, with 40 games scheduled to launch in 2023. The brand added that it also has 70 games with its partners in the pipeline. That’s not all, 16 new games are being developed in-house.

Netflix Games made its debut back in November 2021, and the company has released 55 titles so far. The popular streaming service plans to strengthen its gaming portfolio by adding new games monthly.

Netflix Games: Upcoming Titles for 2023

Netflix will launch a variety of new games, including niche indie titles, mainstream games, RPGs, puzzle games, and more. The company is also partnering with the best studios to enhance the gaming experience.

The video streaming platform’s dating show “Too Hot to Handle” was made into a game called “Too Hot to Handle: Love is a Game.” Netflix states that the company’s most-played title will see a reboot later this year.

Terra Nil, a Netflix-exclusive game, is debuting later this month, on March 28. The mobile title includes procedurally generated landscapes which need to be transformed into flourishing ecosystems.

On April 18, Netflix will be launching the Mighty Quest: Rogue Palace, a rogue-lite game from Ubisoft. The RPG title incorporates dungeon crawling and castle building mechanics, and the Netflix version is set to feature improved gameplay.

Netflix has also announced that it is working with Super Evil Megacorp, the game studio behind Vainglory and Catalyst Black. The two companies are collaborating to develop a new game based on an unnamed Netflix release.

The company is mainly focused on mobile games at the moment, but it also plans to explore cloud streaming as well. Leanne Loombe, Netflix’s VP of external games, said in a press briefing, “We are committed to making sure that games can be played wherever you have Netflix. We do believe that cloud gaming will enable us to provide that easy access to games on any screen.”
