Kengo Kuma and Associates collaborated with playground design company Earthscape to design a playground from an array of timber logs assembled to resemble a mountain.
Commenters loved the structure. One said it “triggers long-lost memories”, while another, described it as “admirably cellulosic”.
Other stories in this week’s newsletter that fired up the comments section included clay-moulded hoodies and shorts at London Fashion Week, an affordable housing block in Melbourne designed by Kennedy Nolan and a concrete home designed by Matharoo Associates in India.
