Megan Fox Had a Lot to Say About the Cosmetic Procedures She’s Had Done

When it comes to celebrities and cosmetic procedures, many of us fancy ourselves detectives, confidently guessing what certain stars have undergone just by looking at their pictures. And yes, it’s more common than ever for people — especially those with abundant financial means — to get plastic surgery and other aesthetic treatments if they so choose, so it’s somewhat understandable to assume that many conventionally beautiful famous faces have been shaped and tweaked by plastic surgeons and dermatologists. But it’s all speculation unless a celebrity is willing to list everything they’ve gotten done, and what celebrity is going to do that, right? Well, Megan Fox, actually.
In a new episode of the podcast Call Her Daddy, Fox sits down with host Alexandra Cooper to talk about lots of topics, including what plastic surgery procedures she has and hasn’t elected to get. And while the actor and author doesn’t owe this information to anyone, her candidness is genuinely refreshing.
“I had my boobs done when I was 21 or 22,” Fox says. But that wasn’t the last time she underwent a breast augmentation. In fact, she says she did it two more times. “I had them redone after I was done breastfeeding my kids because I don’t know where they went, but they went. And then I had to have them redone very recently because the first set — I didn’t have enough body fat to disguise. You could see the rippling of the implant. So I had to switch them out to this set.”
But despite doing and redoing her breast implants multiple times, she doesn’t take the process lightly, and she’s apparently quite superstitious about it. “When I go to have a surgery, it’s a very big deal, and all my doctors have to meet with me before and have to tell me if they’ve seen any omens — if they saw any owls, crows, if anyone stepped on a spider, if there were any dead insects,” she says, explaining that she has a fear of dying under general anesthesia (though experts say the risk of complications related to anesthesia is very low).
And because she prefers to avoid going under anesthesia, she also made sure her surgeon understood exactly what she wanted during this most recent breast augmentation: “1990 stripper titties.” She told her surgeon, “I better wake up with the biggest boobs you can fit in my body. And that is what he said he did. And they’re not even that big. They’re a 32D, which is not that big. They just look big on my body because my body’s tiny,” Fox explains. “But if he could have gone bigger, I would’ve had him go bigger because I don’t like surgery.”
