Palatino tiles by Gayafores | Dezeen

Dezeen Showroom: informed by the temples on Palatine Hill in Ancient Rome, Spanish brand Gayafores has created the Palatino marble-look porcelain tiles.
The Palatino tiles are based on the appearance of travertine marble, which features striated layers of sediment and is a classic flooring and cladding material.
Gayafores describes the tiles — which are available in three shades of beige and grey — as having “an honest, balanced and timeless design”.
“Palatino offers a surface rich in both visual and tactile detail, with a micro-texture achieved through advanced digital technology,” said Gayafores contract operations manager Ramón Piñón.
Suitable for both walls and floors, the tiles come in four sizes ranging up to 60 by 120 centimetres. A mosaic version and an embossed deco version are also available.
Gayafores is part of Tile of Spain, an association of more than 100 tile manufacturers.
