Dezeen Showroom: designer Lapo Ciatti has created the Yum Yum seating collection for his brand Opinion Ciatti, which is a pouf featuring a Scandinavian-style backrest.
Yum Yum is available in a single armchair, two-seater sofa, and extra-large armchair models, all combining a soft pouf-like seat with a curved ash wood backrest.
Opinion Ciatti describes the seat as expressing “joy, conviviality, discovery and imagination” while providing a comfortable spot to check emails or make phone calls.
“Wherever it is, Yum Yum can transform any room, including the smallest and most conventional one, into a place to share with others or where to spend some quiet time alone with your thoughts,” said Opinion Ciatti.
The Yum Yum also includes practical features such as a side pocket and removable washable upholstery.
It can be customised in a range of fabrics and colours, and Opinion Ciatti encourages its use in waiting rooms, offices and boutiques.
