The atmosphere is very lively and the place is always hustling and bustling with people. The food is delicious, the tortillas are fantastic, the price is reasonable, the atmosphere is laid back and exactly what you would want on a Taco Tuesday night. The only downside to Rocco’s is the bar, as the drinks are simply to die for and you would not want to drink too much on a Tuesday night! If you think you can control it, go ahead and give it a try.
2) Street Taco:
This is one of the most ideal Mexican setups for tortillas and tacos in Kip’s Bay. They have fantastic happy hour deals and this not only sets great in the budget but their tequila is also really good. Their Yuca fries are great for appetizers, which I think everyone should try when they go. They also have an affordable price which is a surprise considering the area they operate in. It is a very good place for casual dinner and a meet up with friends. Their service is quite good and they feature Mexican food and art, as well, which looks very pleasing, aesthetically.
3) The Taco Shop:
It does not matter if it is Tuesday or not. The Taco Shop has you covered on all days. Their menu is split into two, “tacos” or “no tacos”. They have a vast variety of fantastic tacos that you simply cannot give up on. We suggest trying the Baja fish, chicken tinga, and the spicy chorizo. They are all quite affordable and you can add to your meal with quesadillas and guacamoles. The happy hour deal is quite affordable! You get to enjoy three tacos and beer or margarita only for $12. Another must-try place! The Mexican culinary experience at The Taco Shop is one that you will never forget!
4) Taco Santana:
This is a tiny eatery found in 301 Keap St, Brooklyn. They feature a wide range of Mexican specialties’ and their food is extremely yummy. This humble little place has a bit heart that compliments their service as well as the taste they offer. You will find great deals on Taco Tuesday, but the best part has to be their burrito and rice. It is not exactly ideal for dine-in, given they have a small space, so it is better to take away, but you will visit again. The chorizo tacos along with the steak taco were our favorite!
5) Orale Mexican Kitchen:
This is a very lively hangout in 341 Grove St, Jersey City. The thing that we loved the most about Orale Mexican Kitchen was their large menu for tequilas. They have amazing comfort food which goes well with the setting. The music is really loud, service is a bit rushed and it is one of the most popular places for tacos, not only in the area but in all of New York. For Taco Tuesday’s they have half prices if you pay in cash and the weekends offer a $6 brunch. Their frozen margaritas are a must-try and the guacamole was simply mouthwatering!
6) TacoVision:
If not for anything else, TacoVision is one of our favorite spots purely based on taste. One of the favorite brunch spots in the neighborhood. It is situated on 244 E 53rd St, New York. Their tacos are creative, imaginative, and simply too good! They have house-pressed tortillas along with delicious margaritas which you cannot pass on. Taking their inspiration from the street food experience of Mexico City, they make you feel the warmth and spice of Mexico in the hustle and bustle of New York City.

EastPoint in 25 Avenue B, New York is another fantastic place for tacos. We simply had to include their name because of their price, taste, and service!
Another one that deserves a mention is La Avenida. They have their charm; you manage to feel great every time you visit. The food is terrific, and it is true Mexican food. Also, they have affordable deals for Taco Tuesday and Happy Hour so it fits the bill, as well.
