Fenty Skin’s Fragrance-Free Options Have Finally Arrived for Sensitive Skin Types to Enjoy

Rihanna’s skin-care collection, Fenty Skin, has been a major beauty hit since its 2020 launch, and it’s still going strong — it did just win an Allure Best of Beauty Award in 2021, after all. If you thought RiRi would put a pause on her award-winning skin-care brand for extra time to execute iconic maternity looks (or to release that long-awaited album), think again. After years of fans constantly asking, Fenty Skin’s fragrance-free collection has finally arrived for sensitive skin types to enjoy. 

We’d consider the latest launch under the Fenty Skin umbrella as more of a reinvention of a few old favorites. “I wanted to try out offering fragrance-free versions of my must-have skin-care products because so many people were asking for them,” Rihanna says in a press statement sent to Allure. “Giving people that option for skin care with fragrance and also fragrance-free now really helps us expand on our mission of making skin care for everyone.”

The collection’s three core products, also known as Start’r items, now come in both fragrance-free and original cherry-and-coconut-scented options, which is good news for fans of fragrant products and irritation-prone complexions alike. Complexion-enhancing products included in the latest limited-edition release include the Total Cleans’r Makeup-Removing Cleanser, Fat Water Toner Serum, and Hydra Vizor Moisturizer SPF 30 Sunscreen.

The Total Cleans’r is the first step of the Start’r routine and acts as a two-in-one makeup remover and non-stripping cleanser. This creamy-lathering wash’s main ingredients are moisturizing coconut extract and antioxidant-rich cherries derived from Rihanna’s home turf, Barbados. The Fat Water Toner Serum is the post-cleanser step spiked with niacinamide to give your pores a brightening, softening, and oil-balancing treatment. 

Last but definitely not least is the game-changing Hydra Vizor Moisturizer SPF 30, a lightweight sunscreen that’ll guard your delicate complexion against UV rays, while adding a boost of niacinamide to tackle discoloration, dark spots, and dullness. As you’d expect from your moisturizer, it also intensely hydrates your skin with the help of hyaluronic acid and aloe.
