I’m extremely proud of the fact I’ve resisted the urge to buy gift cards for my friends and family and instead am making an effort to pick more personal presents. (I know. I’m so nice.) This season, I’m starting the process of holiday gift shopping early enough to avoid running into a panicked gift-card purchase, and honestly, I think I’m killing it so far.
